"Good Morning Justin Bieber"

This morning when I went into Braylen's room he popped up and I saw a slight resembelance between Bray's do and Justin Bieber's.  I said, "Good morning, Justin Bieber." to Bray and then he asked about num nums and pointed to his radio saying, "Please."  I'm not sure he got the joke...
I don't have a pic of Bray, but here's one of what his hair looked like!

Basketball, Birthday and Family time!!

We spent the weekend in Jacksonville and had a fabulous time!  Friday night we went to the JHS Bowl to watch the all stars basketball game, Braylen really enjoyed that, Saturday we went to Bella's first birthday party and had lots of fun, balloons were present, WOOHOO, and then hung out with the family that night.  Other than a fit full night sleep for Braylen and I Friday, it was a great and relaxing weekend!

I think Braylen is broken...

OK, not literally, but the sweet Braylen facade is starting to crack.  Wednesday night Jeremy went to pick Braylen up from Gretchen's after work and Braylen threw an absolute fit, both leaving and then putting him in his car seat.  I can only imagine how frustrated Jeremy was, it's always so hard putting a bucking child into a car seat, especially since it was the first time Jeremy used our new car seat and was having a hard time figuring it out!!  And last night we had our first all out tantrum.  We've experienced small little fits that we can usually distract him out of within a few seconds, but last night was definitely not one of those.  It was 8:00, we usually have him in PJs and in his quiet room by then, but we didn't have him changed yet.  I decided due to his fussy demeanor I would have him watch basketball while I changed him.  So much for that smooth idea.  He obviously wanted or didn't want something because we walked into the living room with his PJs and that was the end of it...you are fortunate I don't have video of this experience.  It was body trashing, spit slobbering, tear dropping insanity.  I hope no one ever experiences this with my child, but I'm sure that is wishful thinking.  After what felt like about 5 minutes, but was probably more like 2/3 minutes, I was able to calm him a little and change him and then put him down.  Whew, what a challenge!!
I had to add a sweet picture of him to remind me what a sweetie he normally is!!
This is obviously not a picture from last night!!

Sunday

We had our own little family day veggin at the house on a rainy and cold Sunday!  It was great just to relax!  Jeremy went to the store and got a little something he plans to "work on" after tax season...
A potty chair for Braylen, good luck with that honey!
As I was putting away Bray's laundry we were singing songs and reading a few books, here a couple of his favorites...

We had the kids join in the play date in the morning, but it was all adults Saturday night!!  My Timmermans girls had a night out and we had a great time!  Jeremy and one of my friend's husband, Dan, had a game night out with some of their friends too.  Fun had by all!!!

Saturday morning play date

We had a fun play date on Saturday morning with our friends Jill, Jamie and her son Reid.  Braylen and I made breakfast and had a great time playing and talking with the girls.  Braylen also enjoyed checking out some of his old toys and sharing his crackers with Reid, although he was a little small to enjoy them yet!

I think I want to rename Reid Buzz

Those links sure are fascinating

My son the Chef

I truly believe Braylen will either grow up loving to cook or become a chef!  He mix, pour and add things to his "dishes" all day long!

Braylen knows his stuff

Many times when Braylen's roaming around the house he's jabbering and I kinda just agree with what he's saying or talk with him a little bit.  Sometimes I catch little tidbits and try to figure out what he's saying and try to decipher Braylen language.  I also must admit that when he's "talking" I'm usually doing something else and my attention isn't directly on him.  Prime example, Braylen is playing with his toys after breakfast and I'm cleaning things up and putting dishes away.  Of course, he's chatting up a storm and he is repeating dadda dadda dadda over and over again.  I am responding saying dadda's at work and will pick him up from Gretchen's later and play with him that night.  I finally look up at his after about 100 daddas and see why he's repeating himself over and over again...
He found dadda's hat

and decides to walk around the house acting like dadda!!
Duh mom, just pay attention to me the first time and maybe you'll understand me better instead of making me repeat myself over and over again!!!

Braylen and momma's first "conversation"

While having bath time on Tuesday night, Braylen and I had our first conversation.  It was very repetitive, but it went a little something like this...Jeremy just gets home and Braylen's in the tub and he's hears Jeremy heating up dinner.  Braylen hears the microwave open and shut and says, "What's that?  Dadda?"  I respond, "Dadda's eating num nums, he's heating up his dinner."  Braylen says, "Dadda num nums."  I say, "Yep, dadda's eating his dinner, num nums."  Braylen asks, "Puppy num nums?"  I answer, "No, puppies already had their num nums."  He says, "Mommy num nums?"  Me, "Mommy and Braylen already had their num nums."  He continues, "Nana num nums?"  Me again, "I don't know probably eating num nums right now or maybe Nana's had dinner already."  Braylen, "Puppy num nums?"  Me again, "No, remember puppies already had their num nums."  And END SCENE!!
Bath time is always a fun time at our house!

He was play in here until the water got ice cold and  his lips turned blue!!

Coyotes, puppy love and baball

Here are some random things that happened Tuesday...
We saw 2 coyotes in the field next to our house, yes we still have a little snow!!

Braylen helps Nana and Papa in Chicago

I gave mom and dad the weekend off (at least that what Papa says), and decided to write on moma's blog thing. Nana and Papa picked me up at some small town between where Papa and Nana lives, and Dubble-Uke, or where ever I live. It was not a big thing, because I was able to help Nana and Papa find Chicago ( I have a sense about things like that.) Nana and Papa surprised one of my great aunt's, Judi and her family and they went bonkers over me. I met Dan (who is loud), AJ (who is big) and Alex (who swims a lot). It was kind of weird because they had a big pond inside the building where we stayed, and the water was warm like my bath. Nana and Papa took me swimming which is really neat. My cousin, Alex, showed me a thing or two about swimming, which I'm sure will come in handy when I swim in Nana and Papa's pond. I even got to sleep a little in Nana and Papa's bed.
Pardon the pooch on my belly in the swim shots. I had a little too much to drink and eat earlier.

Judi and Alex seemed to enjoy my company!
And, I theirs!
This blogging thing is kind of hard. Maybe mom can help with a little video.
She's got other things to add!
This is probably a little too long. So, I will finish up by saying that I missed mom and dad, but sure enjoyed Nana, Papa, Super Nana and Super Papa, along with the Florida people and everybody else who found Chicago.
This is me and my TALLLLL cousin, AJ.

Catching up from the weekend and week

It's been fairly uneventful this week, but we did have a fun weekend hanging out with friends, a baby and playing with new toys.  Here are some pictures of him from past week.  I'll have to refer to these this weekend as Braylen will be spending time with other family out of town, mom and dad will not be with him:(  He will have lots of fun, no doubt, and I'm sure will also have lots to tell us.

He turned around to sit like this when my friend Mel came to visit.  He didn't want to miss out on ANYTHING

Stomp Rockets anyone?

OK, I'll make it go myself!
