Braylen's many "faces" or maybe I should say "phases"

Seriously, who's kid is this?  It's not the same one I dropped off at Gretchen's this morning...

OK, maybe the blood sugar level was off.  This is the bugster I remember.

Jacksonville FUN

Braylen and I went to Jacksonville over the weekend and had a wonderful time. The weather was wonderful, up until we left, and hanging out with everyone was great. Saturday we spent time with Mandi and Andriy and Jess and Clint playing games and Guitar Hero!! We also heard some exciting news, Jess and Clint are expecting! WOOHOO! We had a few drinks to celebrate the good news. Sunday we went to Grandma's and Super Nana and Papa's. Kati and Bella were there and then Suzi, Shari and Zach stopped by and finally Braden rode his bike over, gotta love the small town! We played ball, Braylen's favorite new game both throwing and kicking, and hung out outside in the great weather. Braylen fell on a spiney ball from the tree and scuffed up his nose, but he is a pretty tough little guy!! We had dinner out at Leos, yummy! I feel like all I did was eat this weekend! Monday morning was relaxing and we got on the road early afternoon. Braylen was super excited to see Dadda and Molly and Riley, he missed them all!!

Proud soon to be mom and dad

Happy Valentines Day

Jeremy and I got to get out for a nice dinner while Nana and Papa babysat, played, with Braylen Saturday night.  We went to Timmermans and it was delicious, yum crab legs!!!  Other than having a little too much to drink, it was a great night.  On Sunday we said bye bye to Nana and Papa and had our own relaxing Valentines Day, even though a day early.  We exchanged presents, Braylen got new books, a new CD and some new jammies, Jeremy got a Bears snuggie, "The Hangover" and a duo picture of me and Bug and Jeremy got me a Kindle (lucky me)!  I was very surprised, but he said it was much deserved because I put up with him during tax season (I added in that I also put up with him all year long!).  Jeremy, as always, gave me a nice card and wrote a sweet note, this year was a little different (see card below)...I think he bought himself the card??  It made for a good laugh and a confused couple of seconds.  Anyway, looking to read some good books everywhere I go!
We love you all!!

Will you be my Valentine?  Please?

This is the card Jeremy gave me, yes Jeremy gave me.  Pls read carefully when picking out cards!!!

Movie night, here we come!!  I wish they made couple snuggies!!

Weekend outdoor adventure

Nana and Papa came to visit this weekend and we decided to take advantage of the "nice" weather and try our luck at sledding with Braylen.  It was fun, but the snow was so deep in our backyard, it did make it difficult.  Braylen really seemed to enjoy it and, of course, Nana and Papa always love to participate in any of our "firsts".
bundled and ready to go!!

who is have the least amount of fun here, if you said Papa, you would be right!!

Snow Day

We had the day off yesterday, Braylen and I, and had so much fun!  We baked some cookies for an upcoming bake sale, practiced our new word "snow", played, laughed, didn't nap, didn't work, ate cookies, skyped with Nana, Papa, Mandi and Jess and made dinner.  It was a really fun day and I was glad to have a day to myself with my favorite little 1 year old!  Here's a video of our goofiness, I'm yelling hiccups by the way, not just randomly hollering.

SPring Fever

Well I got spring fever on the day it started snowing like CRAZY!!  But, Phill told me spring's around the corner, just need to melt a few million feet of snow first.  Here are signs at my house the spring is coming, but it is still winter.
My Gerber Daisy I brought in for the winter is flourishing

and snap dragons are doing too bad either

Another bloom

and then reality, this wreath is not supposed to have any white on it!!

This was our front stoop

I thought I may have some angry blog followers if I didn't put a pic of Bug up too!
