Now, time with Nora

Whew, after a busy weekend, we visited with Abby, Andrew and Nora on Sunday. They hadn't been to the house yet and we were anxious to see Nora again. She's such a funny girl with her big bright eyes and always full of big smiles! Her and Braylen were a little warm, AC wasn't turned on yet, so we had to shed some clothes! We had a great dinner together and Braylen and Nora enjoyed some fruit too. I think they will become great friends, especially if over the next few years we convince them to move near us, yeah BFFs and neighbors!!

Hanging out at Nana and Papa's

We also visited with aunt Jess, uncle Clint, aunt Mandi and uncle Andriy at Nana and Papa's house. Due to the hot weather we hung out by the closed pool, we were cleaning it up to get ready for the big open which happened the day after we left :( and at the new porch. The porch is still in construction stage, but it's getting there. Mom and I planted some landscaping and Braylen hung out in the yard watching and pulling grass. We've decided he's all boy, other than the fact that he loves to hit things and bang things together, he was digging his fingers in the grass and dirt. It was a warm weekend, but swinging on the porch we kept cool! Here are some pictures with his much adoring aunts and Nana and favorite Ukrainian uncle!!

Braylen visits his new cousin Isabella

Braylen and I went to visit Nana and Papa and Super Nana and Papa to finally meet our newest family member Isabella Sophia Borgens and see her mom Kati. She is 7 weeks old and absolutely gorgeous! I was so excited to meet her and as you can tell Braylen wasn't as thrilled, maybe it was that she was wearing a pink Cardinals shirt, yuck! We did get to see a lot of the extended family as well and he put on a show for everyone. Not sure where he gets his personality from ;) but he sure does ham it up once he warms up! Kati and Isabella had to leave on Saturday, so it was a short visit with them, but really great to see them and we're excited to see how big she is by July!! Love and miss you Borgens!

First "independent" bath

Sunday Braylen had his first "big boy" bath. He was just getting too big for his infant tub and just big enough to take a bath in the regular tub. He did really well and enjoyed slashing around. He's loving his bath toys and being squirted with his water toys, it makes him lose his breath, kinda cute!!

Happy 1st Birthday Madison

Saturday was Madison's big first birthday bash!! We had lots of fun and it's amazing to see Madison running around and so big, it doesn't quite seem like a year ago she was born! The kids had lots of fun playing together. Madison didn't have any problem digging into her cake and enjoying some sugar, she's definitely Joleen's daughter!!

Some mommy and Braylen pics

I decided to take a few pics of Braylen and I, due to Jeremy's lack of camera skills, during my days off for my birthday and Mother's day.

Party!!

We had a big bash this weekend for our house warming and my 30th. It was lots of fun and thanks to Nana and Papa, Jeremy and I were able to relax and enjoy the night while they babysat!! There was a crazy game of flippy cup, US vs Ukraine (you can almost imagine), good food, a roaring bon fire and a LATE night cap. We got to bed late, but really had a wonderful time. It was awesome having everyone visit and especially to those that drove from out of town! I also opened some fabulous gifts, an espresso machine, Hobby Lobby gift card, a cute purse, Black Eyed Peas CD from the family and tickets to see the Black Eyed Peas from Jeremy!! Also, much to my disapproval, friends and family brought wine and flowers and a few other gifts to the party! It was so nice and such a good time!

Braylen's 7 months old

I'm thinking of putting on rock on Bray's head to keep him from growing, this is crazy! He's so big and having lots of fun in the new house. There's been no more new advances with crawling, he really doesn't love his tummy, and I'm fine with this! The less mobile he is, the better! He is now eating peas, mango, avocado, banana, green beans, sweet potatoes and Gerber puffs. His favorites are sweet potatoes and bananas. He's working on hand to mouth with his food and sippy cup, so far he's doing OK, but needs lots of help still! There has been a momma noise that has escaped his mouth more than a few times, but no correlation to me and momma. Sitting is so easy for him now and flipping over is also pretty regular when he's laying on his back. He has 2 teeth and loves biting and cuddling with his burp rag. We obviously love him more every day and can't believe how cute he continues to get. I think he gets approx 1 million kisses from me daily and also gives me a number of kisses back. Here are some cute pics of him over the past few weeks!

Just moved in and already planting!!

We planted a little early this year, we were excited to get the house looking bright and cheery with potted flowers! We have a few things we've planted in the landscaping, but these are our first pots. We wanted to get most of this done before my party this weekend, so here we are before Mother's Day planting away. Oh, and the tractor is Jeremy new toy!!!
