Christmas at Nana and Papa's

We left after work on Friday, Dec 23 for the trip to Jacksonville for Christmas.  We were all looking forward to the trip, especially Braylen!!  It was so exciting to see Miss Leah and how much she has grown and to spend lots of QT with the immediate and extended family.

We spent Christmas Eve day hanging out and relaxing.  Went to church and then headed to Super Nana and Papa's for the Christmas Eve bash!  It was nice to see everyone and Braylen got acclimated to the crazy and big family again.  Bella and him played and we all ates lots of food!!

Braylen, needless to say, got spoiled rotten on Christmas morning.  Santa got him a few cool things, but Nana and Papa, Mandi and Andriy and Jess, Clint and baby Leah really brought in the good loot, THOMAS THE TRAIN stuff!  We are, or at least should be, outfitted with everything Thomas related for a while!!  We spent a great morning together opening gifts and then eating an amazing meal, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!

After our lunch we headed over to Grandma Scott's to spent some good QT with her.  Some of the dedicated workers went to work on strategically placing the fruit on the fruit tree while others of us just visited and critiqued their work, :)  Where else can you watch birds on Christmas day??  Um, Grandma's of course!!

Our final stop for the day is the Anslyn's house.  We were all pretty beat, but got revved up pretty quick with all of the presents, food, conversation and laughs.  The grab bag for adults and kids took place and was a success, but the funniest part of the evening was when Braylen got a gift from Nana and Kevin??  Ever heard of him??  In all my years in this family I have never known a Kevin within the immediate or extended family.  I've kept the name tag for a keepsake for scrap booking?? or perhaps an add on to the grab bag!!  Beware!

We were exhausted, but filled with love on the way home.  So many memories are made every time you come together as a family and to cherish them all individually is impossible, but collectively they are the things that make every day so special and so worth living!!  Thanks to all of my family for being so wonderful!!
Merry Christmas!!
