We made a trip back to Jacksonville for the second downtown turnaround for the weekend!! It was a quick stop back in Dubuque, until we got back in the car for another weekend away. We had a lot of fun and, of course, Braylen absolutely loves being at Nana and Papa's house with Ella, Norbert, Bigelow neighbors and Chukin playmates! A hot weekend requires a little Nana and Papa pool time, which is exactly what we took advantage of after walking around downtown for a few hours. Braylen got to walk in the parade with Papa, which made them both very happy, I'm sure. According to Papa, Braylen is a natural candy thrower and ran them out of candy and, probably, energy by the end!! Hanging by the pool is my favorite way to spend a summer weekend in Jacksonville with just a few of my favorite people :) I absolutely cannot wait to go back and will try to brave a trip with 2 youngins by myself to enjoy a little more Jacksonville time after baby 2 is born!!
