The rest of Easter weekend

We had the Fluhr's over Saturday night when we got home.  The kids had a great time playing, Braylen showed them his new basketball hoop!!  Sunday we went to church, had a Easter egg hunt at the house and then off to Grandma and Grandpa's for lunch and more hunting!!  What a great day and a fabulous weekend!

Jacksonville's turn...

We decided to spend a few days in Jacksonville before Easter Sunday, so we spent Friday and Saturday with my family.  Braylen had lots of fun hanging out with everyone, dogs included.  Unfortunately the weather was not great, but we enjoyed porch time and even got an Easter egg hunt in there.  Thanks for spending your weekend with us everyone.  We love you lots and can't wait to see you again!!

Big Boy Playing

Last night Braylen and I had so much fun playing before bedtime.  He was playing with the puppies and I thought it would be a great time to introduce playing pretend, acting like a puppy.  We crawled around the floor, barking, playing with a ball and "drinking" out of a bowl.  He was mimicking me and laughing so hard, it was so much fun!!  I didn't have Jeremy take video of it, but now wish I did, but I did take a video of him later playing puppy and then digging into his toys.  And then this morning he was "reading" to himself in his bedroom.  It was so adorable, I had to capture it on video.  He is getting so good about playing by himself and having fun with his toys.

Our favorite day of the year!

Better than Christmas, better than Birthdays, today is the end of tax season, our favorite day of the year!!  Braylen must love this day as much as mom and dad, because this morning Braylen was an absolute golden child!  He played in his room with his books, played with his cars (a new favorite), played the guitar and played basketball!  Braylen was throwing his ball at my plants and it landed in one, which gave me an idea...

Dancin Sunday

I took some pics of Bray on Sunday and I caught him dancin, dancin, dancin in a couple of videos.  We played outside and he enjoyed his Sunday with mom, dad and Riley and Molly.  With the exception of a big bump on his head, it was a great day, well worthy of a dance, or 2!!

sidewalk chalk is fun

Not sure why, but chalk always brings out the artist in me!!

Another first...

Saturday night we went to Hoolihans for dinner and I can't believe it, but I forgot my camera to capture this first on film!  We ordered Braylen his first kids meal!  He's been eating like a horse and to keep him happy and full without emptying my plate, I thought it was just about time.  His dinner was chicken bites and fries, lucky him, but it also came with carrots and dip, applesauce and ice cream.  He did well with the carrots and dip, he preferred the dip, ate almost all of chicken and fries, the applesauce was taken home with us and dad helped him eat his ice cream!!  What a big boy!
