Thursday night fun

Last night was my first night with Braylen since Monday and I was looking forward to some fun time with him!  After we made and ate pizza we played around with some new things and he showed me how big he has gotten!

We got home early on Sunday and I had Monday off too, so Braylen and I played with his new toys!  He loves them all, thanks to everyone for all of the fun and amazing new gifts!

Christmas on New Years

We did the Scott Christmas on New Years morning and after we woke up we opened gifts and stockings, had breakfast and drinks!  YUM!  I think Jeremy was pouring captain and cokes at 10:30 that morning and a few of us were having mimosas and Braylen was drinking milk!  Super Nana and Papa stopped by near the end of the chaos and hung out for a while to eat and hang out.  It was a really great day of relaxing and spending time together.  We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas morning at mom and dad's/nana and papa's!

New Years Eve

I was so looking forward to spending time with the family for a long weekend! We always have fun when we go to Jacksonville, but we had some really fun activities planned for the weekend! Thursday around 1 we left Dubuque and made it to my parents around 5. Braylen was so excited to see everyone! Friday Bray and I went to visit the grandparents, Grandma Scott and Super Nana and Super Papa. Shari was also around, she and Braylen had lots of fun chasing and playing hide and go seek! We went to church that night and then the festivities began!! For New Years we decided to do a progressive dinner starting at the Chukins for appetizers. It was so great hanging out and having some drinks, yum Zentini! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!

Then it was off to Jessi and Clint's for soup and salad and more drinks!  The food was great and the Bigelow house is looking great!  Can you tell I was focused on playing XBox connect and then getting Braylen off to bed, not many pics...

And last, but not least mom and dad's for the grand finale!  Steaks, potatoes, green beans and deliciousness!!  Also, a few more drinks to ring the new year!  I wish I was a little more lively, I hate to admit that I was falling asleep around the dinner table, after dinner, but before 12:00 :(  Just zapped from all of the fun!!  Everybody got moving around 11:55, just in time for toasts, kisses and happy wishes!

Monday we spent some time at the Urban's because Mel was in town, yeah!  Unfortunately you wouldn't know that by looking at the photos, they're a little child biased!!  We had fun giving Nora her 1st birthday gift and her Christmas present.  She seemed to like both of them and Nora also got Braylen something too, how fun, more presents!!  We then dropped the kids off with their dads and went out for a while, girls night!  I had fun catching up and it was great to see the big 1 year old!!
