We decided we would dig up plants at our current house and move them out to the new house this weekend. We were out to dinner and for drinks Saturday night, so we weren't moving too fast Sunday morning, but I was able to put both Braylen and Jeremy down for a 9:30 nap while I went out to start on our project. It really wasn't too bad, just lots of hard work. Braylen slept for a surprisingly long time that morning giving me and then Jeremy, when he got up from his nap, a lot of time to get things done. I pulled up quite a few sections of plants, but still left lots behind. We went over to the new house that afternoon and started our work planting them. It was a little warm in the sun and also slightly difficult with Braylen, but we brought along his excersaucer and stroller, which helped a lot. Kyle and Patti Kuntz (the family whose house we're moving into) came home from their work on their new home and their 2 little girls, Evelyn and Laney, helped Jeremy out A LOT and Patti helped with Braylen. It wasn't just planting but lots of weed pulling and after all of that work I feel like there are lots more plants needed at the new house! Here are some pics of the view of our backyard and the beds we were planting in, doesn't look like we did too much, but hopefully the plants will fill in nice! Also, take note of Bralyen showing off his 2 bottom teeth while in his stroller, the second one just started coming in last week!

Tax season is over!!
We're so glad to have the dreaded tax season over and have Jeremy all to ourselves now! We went out to dinner at Red Robin and then Jeremy fell asleep early, still trying to catch up on sleep, on the couch. Braylen really liked Jeremy's beer bottle, lets hope this is the last time Jeremy is so proud and laughing at his underage son trying to sneak a drink of beer!!

Spring has sprung, and so has Braylen
We had a great weather weekend! Braylen spent some time in his exersaucer on the deck on Saturday morning, first time he's been outside on the deck. I hung some laundry out to dry and we took a long walk before we went to the Fluhr's. Sunday we got back home and took another long walk, Jeremy started packing up the shed (ugh!!) and Braylen and I "played" outside with Riley and her ball. Braylen seemed to enjoy the nice weather and I think it's caused him to grow even more! He is now sitting on his own, only a little unsteady,
rolling a lot more (I think thanks to Gavin) and eating tons of food, bananas, sweet potatoes, avocados and mangoes. Last night I was eating fruit and holding Braylen, every time I brought the fork to my mouth he opened his mouth wanting a bite. I gave him a few bit sized pieces of mango and now he loves it! It's so fun to watch his senses and recognize things around him, he's so observant.

We spent Friday night, Saturday dinner and Sunday morning with the Fluhr's. It was a great time and we took lots of pics!! It's been since Christmas since all of the little ones have been together and they've all grown so much. We went for pizza on Friday night and it was pretty chaotic, but fun. Saturday we did Easter at Don and Rita's and it was a great day outside and the food was fabulous! We got home in time for Braylen to go to bed, he was exhausted! Sunday was Jeremy's grandpa's 85 birthday celebration and we went to church in Bloomington, WI and then lunch after, again delicious!! Here are some cute photos from the weekend!!

First Cubs game with dad
Jeremy was excited to spend the night with Braylen all alone because the first night game is tonight and he'll be watching it with Bray. Here is part of an email I received earlier today from Jeremy, "PS Brayman & I are going to get to watch our 1st Cubs game togeter tonight. I'm pumped!! & I know he is too. He called me on his cell and ask when I was picking him up"
Too funny!! I know Braylen's crossing his fingers for a winning season, we'll see what the Cubs have in store for us this year!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wDatoy9Dqo

6 Months
Time sure flies when you have the best baby boy in the world!! Really the past 6 months have been so wonderful, it's no wonder I'm not pregnant with my next yet, JUST KIDDING!! Braylen has been a great boy and so much fun, hopefully this will continue into his adolescence and teen years, a mom can hope can't she?! His 6 month appt went off without a hitch, a few tears when the Dr was looking into his ears and a few more when he got his 3 shots (whoa), but all in all a great morning with my Bugman! His genetics haven't seemed to kick in yet, 35% percentile weight and 85% height, but his head is in the whopping 95%! Growing like a weed and he's tried avocado and banana recently and seems a little impartial to the banana, but he will be introduced to lots more over the next few months. The Dr said by 9 months they're eating around 3 "meals" a day and only about 16 oz of milk, this seems crazy!! He has been trying to sit up a little more on his own and can stay up for a few seconds without tipping over. Soon he'll be all over the place and so "independent"!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-wbFzbXtd8 and

Easter Weekend
Braylen and I left Jeremy (dad) this weekend to spend a nice weekend with my family! It was so fun and the weather was GREAT. We left Thursday and got to mom's work around 3:30 so she could show a little someone off! On Friday mom, Nana, and I (or as Braylen knows them plain, ole regular Nana and Super Nana) went to Pine Lakes, the location of our family reunion this summer. It was a HOT day and I took Braylen's socks off and he was able to sit in the grass for the first time!!! He hung out at Mandi and Andriy's that night and had lots of fun, I think they got some good experience babysitting too, dirty diapers and all!! We spent Saturday waiting for Jess and Clint to arrive, which they didn't until later that night, but Braylen kept asking when they would be here!! Sunday morning we went to Easter mass and then to the Scott's for Easter celebration. Braylen got an AWESOME Easter basket with lots of goodies, pictures to come! The trip home was long and boring, but we made it home with a little time left for Jeremy to play with Braylen, for Braylen to pee on himself and take a bath and then to bed for a FULL night's sleep! Whew, what a weekend! We will miss seeing everyone, but can't wait until we have visitors in Dubuque soon!!
