Alana's Happy Joe's Birthday

We celebrated Alana's 3rd birthday on Sunday at Happy Joes!  We were very excited to eat their pizza, especially Braylen, "Pee-a Pee-a" is what he was saying that evening.  The kids had fun and Alana had a great party!!

A fun day off

I had Monday off, Braylen and I had a great time!!  We went to the park with the cousins and they played and played and we had a little picnic too.  Then when we got home Bray was being super goofy and running around in my swim cover up.  Days off with him are always fun and interesting, I need to enjoy them before the school year begins!!!

My coworker went yard saling and found a little something she just couldn't pass up for Bray.  He hadn't seen it until this morning and thought it was pretty cool!!  I feel like I need to make it very clear that he's wearing this because he wanted to, not because he needed due to clumsiness, although not a bad reason for him to wear it 24/7!!

Work event party

We had a work event at the River Museum on Thursday night and after all of the guest left we stayed and had a few more drinks!!  Abby was there to give us/me an inside view of the place and it was great to just relax after a stressful week!!

Dadda's softball game

We were finally able to make it to one of Jeremy's softball games.  All have been so late that the time just doesn't work out with Braylen's schedule.  I took extra clothes for me and food for him so we could leave right after work and cheer on dadda and the rest of the Fluhr boys playing.  It was an unfortunate loss, but Jeremy played pretty well and we were his cheering section.  "YAA DADDA" was a common phrase yelled by Braylen while clapping.  He had the best time playing in the rocks and looking at the baby that was sitting next to us.  There weren't many of us in the stands, but he fully entertained every last person!!

MFR II

Another McLaughlin family reunion down the hatch!  What a fun weekend with the McLaughlin's.  We were so excited to see everyone and especially the Greenhill's.  The rainy weekend started with a flooded golf course and serious thunderstorms, not the greatest start for an outdoor weekend.  The party moved into the Winchester Bowl for a fun afternoon of bowling then onto Phil and Karen's for a fun night of eating and drinking, oh and playing and dancing!!  Sunday was finally beautiful and we spent the day at Nichols Park and ended our trip with a scavenger hunt, WINNER WOOHOO!!  Hope all of the dad's had a great father's day and thanks for all of the hard work that went into planning another successful and fun MFR weekend!!

Girls Weekend

Melissa and I planned a surprise 30th birthday weekend in Chicago for Abby this past weekend and it was such a great time.  We surprised her on Friday after work and then jumped in the car for our weekend free of kids and husbands.  On Saturday we went shopping all day, then an amazing late lunch at Ba Ba Reebas (tapas restaurant), drinks, Dixie's Tupperware Party show and back to Ba Ba Reebas for a late night snack and more sangria!!  We all decided this needs to be a yearly event.

I had Monday and Tuesday off and we invited Abby and Nora over to play in the pool.  I think they both had lots of fun!!!

RIta's Surprise 60th party
